Visual arts in school
Animaplates are visual arts activities that teach a lot more than art. They are designed to be integrated with the curriculum and can help you find different ways to reach your students.
With Animaplates, you can integrate visual arts with Science, Drama, Language, Environment Studies and even Mathematics. Our Project Guides explain every project in detail, so that you can provide as much guidance to your students' creativity as required for their age and maturity level.
Whether you feel comfortable or challenged teaching visual arts, Animaplates will help you save time and make your lessons more fun for you and for your students.
Kindergarten
A basic membership gives you everything you need to organize original art activities that are easy and fun.
For each Animaplates project you get:
- Detailed instructions.
- List of supplies, to help you prepare for the activity.
- Teaching Resources that help you relate the arts activity to other learning objectives.
With the pro membership, you also get additional resources for making your activities even more interesting. Pro membership can be shared by a maximum of five teachers or educators in the same school.
Elementary school
For the elementary grades (and beyond) we recommend the pro membership. In addition to Animaplates project guides with detailed illustrated instructions and useful teaching resources, pro membership gives you access to lots of unique documents such as:
- Puppet Plays that the students can perform with their Animaplates puppets
- Printable documents such as crossword puzzles
- etc. (lots more coming soon)
Pro membership can be shared by a maximum of five teachers in the same school.
