A beneficial experience

During a story writing project, Joelle made puppets with my grade 5 class. The students were more committed because they knew they would use their story for a puppet play. This was a very beneficial experience for them. The students enjoyed themselves but above all they were very involved in their creation. They will keep a wonderful reminder thanks to the DVD that was produced. Thanks to Mrs Meijer for her enthousiasm and her energy.

A very special craft

I heard about Animaplates from a colleague whose children had participated in one of Joelle's workshops. I visited her website and discovered wonderful craft projects. For my event at the Museum, Joelle created a very special craft that was all the rage with visitors. It was a pleasure to collaborate with Animaplates. Joelle is extremely professional and anticipates all the little details that make the workshop go smoothly. I hope to be able to work with her again in the future.

Proud of themselves

I was very impressed and proud of my students when they presented [their puppet show] to the younger children and to the parents. They surpassed my expectations. They had memorized their text well and were able to remember and apply the constructive comments they had received. I was also impressed by their goodwill. They also wanted this great project to be a real success. This project helped them improved their self-confidence in a situation involving verbal communication. It was nice to see how proud they were of themselves and of their puppets.
