Prize draw for Canada Day
To celebrate Canada's 150th birthday, on July 1st, I am having a prize draw where you can win the book "Goodnight, Canada" by Canadian author and illustrator Andrea Beck.
You have until July 29 to answer the questions. A winner will be selected at random among the correct responses, and the result will be announced in our August 1st newsletter.
Beaverly selected this book, so don't be surprised to find some beavers and lots of other typically Canadian things in it!

What's that, floating in the pool? A swimming turtle? Yes and no. It is the Animaplates turtle lantern. What a nice way to light up your summer evenings! If (like me) you don't have a pool or a pond, simply put it on a table.
