Hi %recipient.firstname%,

You can make all kinds of colourful projects with recycled plastic bottle caps. In my new video I show you how to make a daisy.

This is an easy project, and if you make the stems yourself from paper, it is really inexpensive.

In order to raise awareness of the important role played by bees and other pollinators, the United Nations designated 20 May as World Bee Day.

Pollination is essential for the survival of ecosystems, essential for the production and reproduction of many cultivated and wild plants, but bees and other pollinators such as butterflies, bats and hummingbirds, are increasingly under threat from human activities.

To learn more about this, see the United Nations World Bee Day website. And for a visual arts activity to illustrate a lesson on this occasion, see my Bee Finger Puppet project.
