In France and some other countries, Mother's Day falls on Sunday June 4, because the usual day, the last Sunday in May is Pentecost (Whitsunday).
This brings us pretty close to Father's Day, so with apologies to those who celebrated Mother's Day already, I will devote this newsletter to both days. Anyway, all parents deserve to be celebrated every day !
Here is a card with balloons that can be made by little ones, because the balloons are painted with wine corks. This card is perfect for Mother's Day as well as for Father's Day, or for a birthday or any other occasion.
Wine corks are easy to grasp for young children, but bigger kids may be able to use onions cut in half to paint these nice elongated balloons.
A keychain is a very useful little gift that can be used every day. In this video I show several models. I had designed this project for dads, initially, but it will surely please moms as well!
