Hi %recipient.firstname%,

You can learn a lot by making crafts that represent animals. See for example this week's new project: an ant made from an egg carton. Ants have a body that consists mainly of three parts: the head, the thorax and the abdomen. These three parts are represented by three cells of an egg carton.

Like all insects, ants have six legs. The legs are attached to the abdomen, in the middle of the body. Ants don't have teeth, but they have a pair of mandibles that they use to transport objects or to defend themselves.

Discover how to make this ant in my new video!

Here is a different insect, a bit less realistic but just as much fun to make. This grasshopper is made with a clothespin. You can easily turn it into a fridge magnet.
