For most of you, Mother's Day has passed, but there are some countries where it is celebrated on a different date.

For instance, Sweden, the Dominican Republic and France celebrate it on May 29 this year. In Argentina, Moms have to wait until October 16. So, depending on where you live, this new project may be a last-minute idea for you, or something that you can keep in mind for next year.

This card in the shape of a purse can of course also be used for a birthday or any other occasion. This project gives kids a lot of creative freedom because everybody can chose the colour of the bag and the decorations they prefer, and make this into a really personalized little gift.

 

For either Mother's Day or Father's Day, here is a picture frame in the shape of a porthole.

The document for this project includes all the patterns to make the picture with the sailboat, but kids can also make their own drawing with their dad's or mom's favourite activity.

 

Father's Day also varies around the world, but with very few exceptions it is a Sunday in June. Many countries celebrate it on June 19 this year.
