Hi {firstname},
It's almost back to school time and if you have school age children, this is a good opportunity to remind them that one of the most important things they'll learn at school is to respect others.
The whole class will be happier if every child realizes that:
I hope that you were able, like me, to enjoy the summer and break out of your daily routine. I made two short videos this month that show how you can give a new life to objects that most of us tend to throw away.
The first one shows what you can do with disposable plastic cups that are often used for refreshing drinks.
The second video shows how a plastic egg carton can become a very useful tool once all the eggs have been eaten and the tray is empty.
Don't throw out the egg carton but keep it for projects in the classroom or at home!
It's grape harvesting season. You'll find several ways to represent grapes on the Animaplates website.
Here is a bunch of grapes made from recycled materials: plastic bottle caps.
And soon we'll be able to enjoy newly harvested apples. You'll find many apple projects on the website.
Here is an apple made with two recycled (and of course washed) styrofoam cups. This is an easy and pretty craft.
Some more ideas for projects made from recycled materials:
Have a good return to school!
Joelle
