Hi {firstname},
The reason this letter arrives very close to November 11th, Remembrance Day or Veterans Day (depending on where you live), is that my projects were delayed because, in spite of all my precautions, I did catch Covid-19. Fortunately, I have recovered now and I was really happy to be able to create a project once again.
In my new video I show you how to paint poppies using very simple utensils: a wine cork and a (plastic) fork. This is a nice project that even younger kids can do, and it does not require a lot of preparation.
November 11 initially commemorated the end of the First World War and this year, even more than at other times, people aspire to the end of wars and the arrival of Peace.
Here is a project that recycles a plastic bottle to make a brooch in the shape of a poppy. You can also make a cornflower, which is the symbol used at this occasion in France and certain other countries.
Here are already some ideas for the month of December:
Have a good week!
Joelle
