Hi {firstname},
This time last year, we could not have anticipated that the war in Ukraine would last this long. But circumstances cause us once more to want to do something to help the children affected by this war.
This year, we will donate 50% of our revenue for the month of March to the activities of Unicef in Ukraine. So, if you were planning to buy or renew an Animaplates membership, why not do it right away (February 28 also counts!). Basic and Pro members do not see advertisements on our website and get several other perks as well, see here.
If you prefer to donate directly to Unicef yourself, for their work with children in Turkey, Syria, Ukraine and elsewhere in the world, here are the links for Canada and for the United States.
If you know any children who like to dress up, or if you sometimes look for a costume for yourself, for a special occasion, here is the starting point for an original dog costume.
In my new video, I show how to turn a baseball cap into the head of a dalmatian. I made this project for a choir that was going to sing "How much is that doggie in the window" and it was a big success.
To complete the costume, just add paws, and the spectators' imagination will fill in the rest.
This week's second video shows how to make paws that you can put on like mittens.
It will soon be Saint Patrick's Day! See how you can make a shamrock of tissue paper stained glass. The pattern is included in the free document.
Saint Patrick's Day is also a time to send greeting cards. Here is a card printed using a potato.

Have a great week!
Joelle
