Hi {firstname},
Because the sun shows itself more and more often, and temperatures are becoming seriously spring-like where I live, I felt like decorating my front door with a flower wreath. I thought that it would also look very nice on a classroom door, especially if the flowers were made by the students.
So I continued making flowers of the kind I showed you in my previous newsletter, and I glued them on a grapevine wreath that I had bought in a craft store. See the result for yourself!
You can of course use other types of flowers, and you don't have to use egg carton to create them. Here are some examples that use a variety of techniques:
Earth Day has passed, but that is no reason to stop using recycled materials for our projects. If you have a puzzle that is incomplete because some pieces were lost, you have a goldmine for making little gifts.
In this video, I show you some examples of fridge magnets made with puzzle pieces and various small objects.
By gluing two puzzle pieces together, you can make even bigger magnets, as seen in this other video, These fridge magnets can be nice little gitfs for Mother's Day, for instance.
Other little gifts made with recycled objects:
Have a great week!
