Hi %recipient.firstname%,
Christmas wreaths made of evergreen or holly branches twisted into a circle symbolize the survival of Nature during winter and, for some, eternal life.
Not everyone has the possibility to make them from real branches, but you can make a Christmas wreath from a paper plate and coloured construction paper. That's what I show you in my new video.
If this project is too complicated for the little ones, they will surely be able to paint a wreath using finger paint. See how simple it is!!
This is the base for my new giant nutcracker. The edge is gold and purple. Since I will be representing a king, I figured that this purple colour will give him a really royal look.
I have made the shoes already, but I still have to design the crown. I will show it to you when it is finished!
My new book won't be ready for Christmas, but in the meantime, the book that I have already published would be a very nice gift for someone who likes to create things with their hands. You can find it on Amazon at http://geni.us/giantnutcracker

Do you know my Sudoku Junior? They are based on the same idea as sudokus with numbers from 1 to 9, but instead of numbers, they use pictures.
To make them more accessible for kids, sudoku junior are played on a 4 x 4 grid with only 4 different pictures.
The child must cut out the pictures and place them in such a way that each picture appears only once in each row, in each column, and in each square of four boxes. The solution is on the second page of the document.
Here's an example:
With a Pro membership, you'll get unlimited access to all sudokus on my website. In addition to sudoku junior, there are picture sudokus with 6 x 6 grids, and classic sudokus with numbers in a 9 X 9 grid.
It is not too late to make your own Christmas cards. Here are a few ideas:
Have a great week!
Joelle
