I have all skill levels in my class and this was a project where everyone’s turned out beautiful!

During a story writing project, Joelle made puppets with my grade 5 class. The students were more committed because they knew they would use their story for a puppet play. This was a very beneficial experience for them.

I heard about Animaplates from a colleague whose children had participated in one of Joelle’s workshops. I visited her website and discovered wonderful craft projects. For my event at the Museum, Joelle created a very special craft that was all the rage with visitors. It was a pleasure to collaborate with Animaplates.

A teacher with a passion for Animaplates built the Animaplates Chess Set with her students. As you can read in this newspaper article (in French), it was a great success.

I must start by telling you how much fun I am having as I work on my giant nutcracker. I find myself smiling as I cut and glue and tear strips of newspaper. And, of course, I am humming some of the more familiar parts of The Nutcracker Suite as I work on each part.

The Animaplates workshops in my grade 5/6 class were a success. The kids were able to create beautiful original puppets and to present children’s stories to the primary grades. The kids were so proud of their creations! Since I teach French immersion class, this experience has really given the students

I like the projects very much; my son and I had a lot of fun making them together.

I was very impressed and proud of my students when they presented [their puppet show] to the younger children and to the parents. They surpassed my expectations. They had memorized their text well and were able to remember and apply the constructive comments they had received.
