Large Globe of the Earth
There’s no greater time to teach the children about interdependence and the environment than during Earth Day. This is the day that we celebrate the living Earth that allows us to breathe. Without the trees, plants, water and soil, we wouldn’t be able to live.
It’s important to teach our future generations the importance of the Earth and this fun paper mache project will do just that. This activity is wonderful for large groups and team building. Give the children a chance to better understand what it means to help one another and appreciate each other’s work through Earth Day activities.
If you don’t have time to make the globe, you can use a ready made inflatable globe (see link below the video).
