Owl

This is a very exciting project with lots of bonus content. Owls are fascinating animals and this document contains many things that you can learn about them. I present several examples of plumage that you can copy but there are many owl species and you can let your creativity guide you when you paint.

For older children, this project can become even more interesting if it is integrated with research in science. See the Teaching Resources section for lots of information.

For younger children, a simplified version is included. As well, you can find some nursery rhymes about owls here.

Two versions are presented, for two sizes of plates, since availability of
oval paper plates varies depending on the country.
